New Year’s Eve Baking

We had an absolutely wonderful New Year’s Eve. Several friends came over, and the kids all had a great time.

I decided to burn my Sweet Orange & Chili Pepper Teddy Bear Jar that night, because it seems everyone loves that scent, including one friend who I knew was coming over. She commented on it when she walked in the door.
That same friend decided to bring over goodies to bake for everyone, and I didn’t blow out the candle while baking. Much to my surprise, it complimented the smell of baked goodies in the oven absolutely perfect. The scent just blended right in with the oatmeal bread, pumpkin bars, apple cake, and chocolate cherry cake.

It’s nice to find those scents which complement other normal scents already in my home. :)

  1. I have to share a similar story! New Year Eve as well, and I was burning your Apples & Oak scent, with a honey glazed ham in the oven. WOW-did those go well together! I had the exact same thought~how great that the two complimented each other so well!
