Candle of the Day
Today’s candle of the day is a Eucalyptus soy melt. I’ve been pretty sick over the last several days, so this is the absolute perfect melt to have in the melt warmer today. While it’s not an essential oil (it’s a fragrance oil, which is synthetic), it seems to work just like one. It always helps clear up our colds a little bit.
It’s the right time of year for this scent, that’s for sure!

Candle of the Day - Caribbean Morning Melt
Today in my melt warmer is a Caribbean Morning melt. This scent is a combination of pineapple and coconut, with a slight hint of vanilla. On a cold winter day, this melt turned out to be absolutely perfect.
I love melts (often called “tarts”), because you have no flame and they can be changed often. Each lasts about 2-3 days, depending on the scent (some last even longer!). Melts can be used in electric tart warmers or in a bowl sitting on hot plate. (Some sell wickless candles to be used on the plates, although we offer bowls for the plates to use melts in).
Caribbean Morning comes in melt packs of 10 at our online store. You can also pick it up in any size or style of soy candles. Wonderful scent for today!

Candles of the Day - Floral Bouquet & Lily of the Valley
Today I’m actually burning two different candles in different parts of the house. The first is a 12oz jelly jar in Lily of the Valley, which is almost always sitting in my bathroom. I burn it on a regular basis and it’s about the only scent I do burn in the bathroom. Why? No idea, but I absolutely LOVE that scent.
The other candle is sitting right here in my front room, and it’s Floral Bouquet. The jar it’s in is actually one of my old jars, but is similar to the 8oz faceted jars. This is also one of my favorite scents, because it reminds me of the greenhouse I grew up next door to. Carnations are my favorite flower, and that’s what you can smell the most in this blend of various greenhouse flowers. It really does smell just like their cooler where they kept the carnations and other flowers!
The reason for burning these two today was to think spring. It’s been bitter cold outside for far too long, and I needed something to remind me of spring. So out came the spring scented candles to beat the winter blues!

We’re introducing a new section here on the blog titled “Candle of the Day”. Since I burn so many candles and melts, I decided it was about time to share what’s burning from day to day.
Today’s scent and candle of the day is an 8oz jelly jar candle in the scent “Birthday Cake”. I can really smell the frosting, and it went well with that brownie I ate early (which happened to be lacking frosting, so just the smell was good enough for me!). As mentioned, it’s burning in an 8oz sized jar in my (somewhat large) front room. I can smell it all over the house, and especially when I walk in the front door.
This is one of the newest scents you’ll find on the site. Enjoy!
